Sometimes God’s creatures can teach powerful lessons about life.

You foolish, dump, silly steed
Stretching your neck over the fence
To munch down brambles mixed with weed.
What folly is this utter horse sense?
You’re such of lovely, pretty horse,
Why do you insist on tasting the forbidden weed?
Ignoring the perimeters of the course,
Why, your master’s given you all you need.
Oh lovely, foolish, silly steed
There are others with no more sense;
They are among the human breed,
Like you, they violate the fence.
Reaching for what they do not own
Causing sorrow to be sown.
Not realizing the Master has meet all their needs.
You may wake with colic on the morrow
For not staying inside the fence
We too will reap untold sorrow
For having used so little horse sense!
