The day my house became a home.

A rhyming poem I could not write,
until that faithful day to my delight,
I found that I could write this poem,
the day my house became a home.
Life’s intrinsic beauty, suddenly clear to see,
perhaps not to everyone, but certainly for me,
the swan in the river, the bird in the sky,
the essence of perfection, the beauty in your eye.
I sit alone this day, looking at the ocean,
is it simply water, or some healing potion,
I turned my head around, looking up at Rome,
1 year since the day, that my house became a home.
