Prison is a hell that one can not escape from. By Simonne Liberty.

Clang

the steel doors slammed

he just walked into the

world of the dammed

his mind is a blur

he can’t think

with a dead stare

he doesn’t blink

how did this happen

how did he get here?

his being is numb

and he’s covered in fear

“twenty to life” rings in his head

he can’t breath

and his feet have turned to lead

a faint scream cries deep in his

heart

his strength is crumbling

and falling apart

how stupid

how stupid

how could he had done it

his bold and daring antics

were a hit

filled with alcohol he was

on top of the world

ideas of fun and games

in his head swirled

when the fun got out of hand

it was to late for the dead man

now he stands alone

wanting to die

to numb to even cry

Clang

the steel door slammed

he’s in the

house of the dammed

Great write, makes one think, when you see what might happen, is it worth the risk?

very realistic, easy for me to imagine the fear of knowing you may have just gone a step to far , well done
