Short Prose Poem about how extraterritorial life began its invasion on earth.
It began, nothing more than a plate of microscopic SSOs’ mingling within a sample of muddy water. Millions of years, it has been said, are required for a species to evolve, and yet, as I gleam down into that murky water, the single cells split
becoming multi-cells—and then the glass plate broke,
and the maddening chaos of alien evolution overtook the table…
Then the room.
