How long? A question that calls out of depression. A question that calls out of rejection. A question that calls out of oppression. God sees our situation. He knows are need and will not give us more than we can bear.
How long, O Lord?
Will you forget me forever?
How long, O Lord?
Will I see thy face again ever?
I have trusted in your mercy,
I will rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto you, O Lord,
You have dealt bountifully with me
How long, O Lord,
Shall my enemies oppress me?
How long, O Lord?
Shall they be exalted over me?
Consider and hear me, O Lord
My God, enlighten my eyes.
Make me aware of the danger.
Preserve my life from enemies.
How long, O Lord,
Shall I take counsel in myself?
How long, O Lord,
Shall my heart have sorrow daily?
