A Poem By Lawrence Miller.
How Long Do I Wait
Babe How Long Do I Wait
to see you again
Hasn’t your punishment been long enough
Baby How long do you hold a grudge
Honey i can only take so much
I’m on a train going no- where
travelled the country side
Seen alot of places places no one can find
I’ve crawled through every cubbie hole
I’ve lived off the streets of hell
I’ve came through it all a sane man
What a guy would do for a gal
I’ve dropped everything that’s important to me
Cause i wanted you to be happy
Ran around in circles in search of you
Spot you with a man in a Porsche
See the guy with a suit and tie
A business man of course
Babe How Long Do I Wait To See You Again
Hasn’t the punishment been long enough
Babe how long do you hold a grudge
Honey i can only take so much
Babe How Long Do I Wait To See You Again
Hasn’t the punishment been long enough
Babe how long do you hold a grudge
Honey i can only take so much
