I am afraid that future generations will not be able to hold and smell real books.

I’m afraid our grandkids will forget what a book is. Too bad. Nothing will ever take the place of a book for me.

I don’t like the idea of no books.

Dear Friends, thanks for your comments. While books are great, and I truly love the smell and sight of them, it is an awful sight to see little kids carrying tens of kilos of books everyday to school – they appear more like donkeys than students. So, let them use digital books in schools and let the regular books be regularly published.

ebook indeed can save a lot of trees harvested for paper materials, but I prefer to read books printed on paper rather than reading the ebook. Reading the ebook makes my eyes feel sore.

I agree with you, digital books are useful for children.
