Poetry By Sourav RC.

You haven’t seen it
But feel it everyday
Disciplined, unlike you
So stubborn and strong
That life’s afraid of it.

No religion, caste or race
Intensity is same for all
It makes you tasteless
Or you can feel sweetness
In the most acerb taste.

Like your expensive perfume,
You can feel the smell -
As this is also an agitation
You can sense the presence
Inside of you and looking at me.

For the believers
Jesus is the food of life
They pray for salvation -
But when that feeling crawls in
Every prayer seems a lie.

Deprivation in my plate, on my table
Within me and within you
All the know-how to provide all
Dying for the deficiency of human will
But life needs to be fed.

Region, country, boundaries
Hold no meanings to it
You cannot kill it nor you can beat
Freedom is joke to a starving man
Freedom- is everyone gets something to eat.

I get the metaphor. There are many empty bellies.

    Like u do

Will u some day teach me?

    Or else oust me

That decision I leave it you

    \\\’\\\’PAR EXCELLENCEEY!!!!!\\\’\\\’

    BUT I too am hungry

    No not for food

    But food for my mind

    Of recognition
    Of hunger for happiness
    Of hunger for friends welfare
    For hunger of being
    Of some service to mankind

Will you help me wipe out?
    Such extraordinary hunger
    I really wonder.

This is one of your better ones. Cast is spelled caste…the editor in me. Is acerb a word or did you mean absurd? Maybe you are right too lazy to look up…school is weary and draining. It caused me to write that arcane story “A strange Love” Will be glad when this quarter is over then one more….Kitty !Also there is a novel by famous elite writer called Hunger, you should read it. The man was starving. I understand what your poem said.

In my dictionary, there are the words, \”acerb\”, \”acerbate\”, and \”acerbic\”, meanig to make sour or bitter.

Throughout history people have done desperate things because of hunger. In our beautiful world, no one should ever be hungry, but we still have not solved this basic problem.
