My Darling,

           I know it has only been a day, but for me it seems like an eternity. It was strange to wake up and not have you there beside me. It was strange to eat breakfast alone. How strange it feels to be writing these words instead of speaking them to you. I know you probably think I am being foolish but I miss you so much. I hadn’t realized that being apart would be so painful and so lonely. I can’t wait till you are back home with me again.

          I don’t know what I will do for the rest of this week, I just can’t imagine another day without you, without seeing your face, you smile and your cheeky grin, without hearing your voice and you giggly laugh, without having your arms to hold me tight and your lips to kiss me.

          I can’t imagine one more day so how am I going to survive a full week. I miss you so much, I never thought this possible. I have never felt so alone and as I stare at your photo I wish you were here. I

           know you had to go and I know you had no choice but I miss you, I really miss you.
