This is a lullaby that I composed in 2006 to calm my little son when he was a baby and it still works wonders with him… He has now learnt the words and sings it to all of us… Apparently, he has also been singing it to other babies in the daycare too… He is right now three and half years old… Will put the notation for this piece shortly as I haven’t written it out yet.

Hush my Baby,

Please don’t cry,

Mama’s here to hold you tight.

You’re my sweetheart,

You’re my pet,

You are everything I could get.

Hush my little one,

You’re my son.

My pride, my joy, my little one,

You’re my baby,

You’re my pet,

You are everything I could get.

Hush my little angel,

You’re so sweet.

I thank God that we could meet.

You’re my baby,

You’re my pet,

You are everything I could get.

Hush my darling,

Now go to sleep,

Angels above, your watch will keep.

You’re my baby,

You’re my pet,

You are everything I could get.

That is so sweet. It must be amazing to write for your child and he memorized it.

This was a very cute lullaby it made me smile when I read it. Children can be so angelic like when your son sang to the other children :)
