I am all I’ve been taught…

I am all the things of my past.
I am the first touch of the world outside,
I am a snowball rolling down the slope,
Growing bigger and bigger and bigger…
I am my Mum’s headache, after a day’s hard work

I am all I see.
A book with thousands of tiny letters,
That look more like an army of ants.
Liverpool winning a Champions League
Another side of the world
Out of small airplane’s window.

I am all I hear.
‘Hurry up! You’ll be late to school!’
‘What? Don’t tell me you forgot your homework!’
‘Goal! What a great strike!’
Soft rustle of leaves in the evening’s breeze

I am all I feel.
Sore throat after 3 portions of ice cream.
A joy of winning a maths competition.
Warm blood leaking down my broken nose.

I am all I taste.
A sweetness of chocolate on my lips.
Bitter tablets hidden under the pillow,
So my Mum would not find out
Australian chips with salt and vinegar,
Those made me feel sick

I am all I remember.
Leaving everything I knew,
And going to the opposite side of the world.
My friends 20 000 kilometres away.
My Grandma’s face,
That I miss so much…

I am all I’ve been taught.
Nile is the longest river in the world
Adelaide is a capital of S.A.
2+2=4

I am all I think.
I think about something,
That no one knows about…
Secret.

I am all these things.
I am like a bird
And all these things are my cage

But one day I will break out
And be free
And fly anywhere I want
Because
I am a child of past, present and FUTURE.

    I like the part:

\”But one day I will break out

    And fly anywhere I want
    Because
I am a child of past, present and FUTURE\”
