An I Am poem, based on a hard worker – looking onto those who are lazy.
I am a diligent worker
I wonder why people waste their lives on pointless things
I hear the cries of those who always wished to be more
I see those who stress over the result of procrastination
I want everyone to feel the satisfaction of hard-work
Because I am a diligent worker
I pretend to be the greatest, overcoming every struggle stopping me in my path
I feel the pain of failure when one procrastinates and presents a poor result
I touch the hearts of those who feel they cannot, when truly they can
I worry why people do not show their greatest effort, according to one’s ability
I cry for those who have fallen due to personal mistakes in life
I am able to overcome for I am a diligent worker
I understand that hard-work and diligence is difficult, but by no means impossible
I say you should give it your all, no matter what the excuse might be
I dream of a world in which everyone utilized their full potential in all aspects of life
I try being the best possible, benefiting not only myself but those I influence
I hope one day every single person would come to realize the true satisfaction of showing the full one-hundred percent throughout the course of life
This I know, for I am a diligent worker
