Man is created equal, in management of life and property, time and space, opportunity and abundance.

I am mortal one like you,
Ought to be free indeed,
Equal to not one and to another,
Take not this my liberty.
To know the truth that leads me to
Freedom in equality.

Am I not a man and brother?
Have I not a task to do?
Oh, does not my heart yearn?
Making me a seeking being,
Of a life now and tomorrow,
Let me fill a calling path!

Yes, I am a man and brother,
Though I still groaned as a slave,
Bound with cruel cords and whatever,
From the cradle to the grave!
Yet I still believe ’cause I know,
I am a man co-equal with you.
