A little poem about life.

“I am afraid”, the young boy said.

“Leave the light on when I go to bed.”

“Please don’t forget, leave open the door.”

The young boy grew, and didn’t fear anymore.

“I am afraid”, said the young man

“To leave what I know and start over again”

Please don’t forget, you can always go home,

The young man did not fear and far he roamed.

“I am afraid”, thought the new father.

“Living my life, I created another.”

Please don’t forget, love is for sharing.

The father smiled, and never stopped caring.

“I am not afraid”, he sighed to his son.

“You’ve grown well, my work here is done”

“Please don’t forget, the end isn’t death.”

His face relaxed, smiling with his last breath.
