Even just one American, in ideals, means that America carries on, triumphant! Long live America!

I AM AN AMERICAN

I am an American,

One of many, in this land,

Not because of birth,

But for love of idea’s worth,

Freedom for all everywhere,

Liberty pushed for by all who care,

There are many here who came from far,

Born in foreign land to follow the star,

That bright, shining light that calls to all,

Which we all see, so answer its call,

Wherever I go I bring America with me,

I am my country, and I am free,

If finally, I am the last American,

Know this, America exists, I am!
