Vowed to follow and serve
I made a commitment
Vowed to pursue and hail
All my faith on I AM.
My family forsook me
Friends scorned me
lost all that I knew
A country I called mine
A people I identified with
All that was familiar.
In tears and in agony
I sought to understand
Seeking His face
And He answered
“For your faithfulness
I have doubly honored,
My blessings pursue you
My peace, always with you!”
