I Am of The Great Spirit

I am of the Great Spirit

It is so

The Great Spirit 

Is within my soul 

As I greet my directions 

Each morning

His love and his light

They bring me peace

To the North I find his wisdom

To the South Innocence and Trust

To the West I look within myself

And I find his peace and his love

To the East is illumination

Where his light shines so bright

Guiding me on my journey

Through each day and each night

I give thanks for his many blessings

I give thanks for his loving Guidance

I give thanks for all that he provides

that gives my body and my soul sustenance 

I embrace the four directions

Greeting them each day again

When I do, I greet The Great Spirit 

For they represent my connection to him
