I am not asking for toys

I am not asking for cloths

I am not asking for shoes

This is my playground

This is my life

I am starving

I am asking you for food today

I am asking you for food tomorrow

I am asking you for food on Christmas Day

There are thousands more like me

Waiting for food

Waiting to eat

If you are blessed with enough to eat

Please share a little with me

Please share with thousands of hungry children like me

A great piece of writing Shirley. it’s so horrible that many of our children suffer hunger while others live in luxury. It’s a sad thing. Thanks for bringing it to everyone’s attention.
