Those tears that you cry, cry no more… I know of your sorrows and prayers for a better tomorrow,
I was standing right there by your side, anticipating on your reply with my arms stretched out wide.
But you only look for comfort in the company of lies, betrayal, and deceit…
Until the day your ready for sure, I’ll be standing knocking on your heart’s door,
Then you can lay all your troubles and fears upon my feet.

Centuries ago, I came upon this land and took on the flesh of man…
I felt the rejection that led your heart to die…
I’ve seen man drowning in the oceans of lies…
Betrayal kissed Me on the cheek,
Denial looked at Me eye to eye, and
Temptation spoke to Me face to face.

My Child, I’ve experienced life as you do, then I sacrificed My body all for you…
I died on Calvary’s cross, then arose from the grave,
So that if you believe you may live eternity, because your sins I already paid.

I’ll be your footsteps on this journey
Your light in the darkness
Your guidance when you are lost
Your rainbow after the rain
Your comforter when feel depressed
Your helper when you are distress,
Give me your burdens to carry, so your load will be lighter…

One you take my hand it’ll be all said and done…
Then and only then you will never be alone.
