You just can’t simply change people the way they are.

I am what I am

Ever since my life began

Under the rain and under the sun

Whatever it takes

Not for anybody’s sake

Take me as I am

Love me for what I am

If you can’t let me be

YES,SOMETIMES, I GUESS, BUT IN THE LONG RUN….,THE REAL PERSON INSIDE HIM/HER WILL SURFACE.

very good poem, it is sad that people want to change the people they are involved with, i believe true love is acceptance without ridicule.
