I was inspired by e.e cummings after watching and reading Jennifer Weiner’s "In Her Shoes." As humans, we are capable of expressing our emotions, even though we try to cover them up.
I carry you with me
In my heart, in my soul
I carry every fragment
and piece that makes you whole
as soon as I put the pieces
back together…
Each moment lasts forever
when you love a person
who will never
refrain him or herself
from loving you
Everybody has a certain
number of facades
with you, every side
is one in a million.
Inside a you is a fragile jewel
Just waiting to glisten and shine
under the warm summer sun
And its ray’s that provide the fragment
of its light.
Words make up emotions
Emotions make up the soul
Which provides the sole interior
That makes us who we are
Like a diamond that emerges from a lump of coal
Like a butterfly that comes out of its chrysalis
You are precious and having you
with me means carrying you
inside a man’s cold fragile heart
ignites the fire that burns as hot
as the earth’s core.
I carry you wholeheartedly
With no compromisation of
our very own moral inegrity
Our bond is what holds us together…
I carry you inside of me
