A poem of my friend’s journey from Jail, and to being saved.

I did a crime,
and am now walking on a fine line.
I am on parole,
for all the things I stole.

Well why I did my time,
I laid a couple a rhyme,
learned that truth,
that was fine.

Why I did my time in prison,
a whole new faith arisen.
This guy was talking about the lord,
I wanted to get out of my cell,
and was bored.

Well I took a seat,
not very open,
looking at others like they are my meat.

Kind of listened to what he said,
heard some of what he read.
Well it kind of passed my mind,
my head went up in the sky.

Though I went again,
because the time out of my cell was nice to spend.
I listened this time,
about faith in lord will make us shine.
I didn’t really take it to heart,
but then he said a big something that made all of the hidden faith really start.

” God loves you no matter what,
that made my jaw drop out of my butt.

Then I doubted what he said,
just another fantasy book convincingly read.
But it planted a seed,
and that is all that I would need.

When I studied it more,
loved the truth of the word,
then my life soared.

So I studied to become a priest,
and of course almost all of my doubt,
in God ceased.

So remember no mater what you do God
Will always love you.

Thank you, god always forgive our sins. But in order to heal we must forgive our sins as well.
