I have tried so many things

I thought life was in tune.

When I felt the timing was right

I just up and quit too soon

One time I was almost there

I set my goal for last June.

I felt like doing my very best

I got tired and quit too soon.

I never accomplished anything

That in my mind made a  hit.

I wasted a whole lot of time

I quit too soon and blew it.  

Think of the times I was hairy

I knew I needed to shave

I quit looking down at myself

Said to myself please behave.

I quit then and I quit now

I quit early and I quit at noon

I’ll keep right on quitting daily

I know I didn’t quit too soon

I think you are nutty too

Maybe cause I like macaroon

Now if you’re sane be thankful

I’m glad I didn’t quit too soon
