Poem about having huge dreams and trying to achieve them. Sorrow and sadness.
I dream a dream, most people will never dream…., floating high in the sky! Wonderful clouds, peach colored, laced in a creamy red rose. Gently rocking back and forth, swinging gracefully, side to side, soft hands guiding me to a heavenly land. Filled with deep rich reds, dark blues, warm browns, soft yellows and sweet indigo’s.
To dream is to think and to think you must have a thought, correct? Where merry little persons, walk in twos, holding hands, prancing oh so softly about. Cool waterfalls, quench my thirsts yummy apples, grapfruit, and oranges. Juicy and sticky but it sure does fill my belly!!
Up in a shoe, rocking twisting and turning, bends and steep curves, bellowing out “Sarah, is that you?”
Sitting in this deep blue train, losing thought, bliss overtakes, eyes shutting wide! Big balloons “May I carry you too?” Deep in thought, lost in my own fillings of need!!
Greed creeps in growling spitting, admiring the shame, what fun it is to carry just about, a heart full of gold and a belly full of yummy apples, grapefruit, and oranges!!
Where, little persons walk in twos holding hands, prancing softly, singing little songs of joy hitting the high notes, like any old pro would do!!
Stuck in a dream, no way out, can’t keep runnin’ heart full of shame, carry with me clouds of grey, dark skies, blue notes sure do, trip me up, tears pour down, my scar torn face. Scream out loud no one hears, deeply sad, no thoughts bloom, disappear,
For I’am all alone…, except the whisperes of greed and…, shame.
