When you’re too old to love you can still dream.

I am entering into the restful part of my life
The only fight I have left struggles to breathe
Don’t know how much time I have left to measure
So I choose to rest entering forever
Documenting love in the cold summer rain
An oddity that has become a familiar sensation
Reciting a tell for those who never knew
A glorious story only friends will attest to
The joy she brought surpassed the best
I close my eyes and exhale a long sigh
Dreaming of the day I loved in May

I don’t think we’re ever too old to love – we just do it in a different way. :D
