I FELL IN LOVE AGAIN TODAY

I fell in love again today,

This morning when I met your gaze,

The face I’ve loved all these years,

A love forever through laughs and tears,

The girl I saw first standing there,

She still exists in this heart I wear,

My love bloomed the moment you entered,

The world – my world – on which you centered,

A universe slowed to a crawl, entranced,

Radiance blossomed – and time was chanced,

Alas! to me the world again began,

It’s focal point to never be the same,

You had caused my heart to melt,

Galaxies to stop – clocks to halt,

I fell in love so long ago,

That morning first I saw your glow,

And I fell in love today again,

This morning when we met in the rain!
