At last my dad and me have met at last we’ve found each other

I never thought this day would come nor did my eldest brother

I flew to Spain to meet him my heart was beating fast

But as he hugged me in his arms i knew that it would last

For forty years I searched in vain through all my files no hope no gain

And then a breakthrough on my site

There was my dad to my delight

I couldn’t wait to email him I couldn’t wait to say

How much i had been missing him this was my triumph day

We talked for days we never stopped I had so much to say

Here was my dad my flesh and blood how did we lose our way

What happened to me?

Where did you go?

Why was I left behind.

For here stood right in front of me a man so sweet and kind

But i know now that my dear dad always loved me best
