I gave up on her, or did I?

I gave up on you

I gave up on you
Yet my feelings stayed

I gave up on you
Yet you enchanted my heart

I gave up on you
Yet you smiled

I gave up on you
Yet nothing changed

I gave up on you
Yet it’s all the same

I gave up on you
Why I do not know

I gave up on you
But I still love you

I gave up on you
Or did I?

I gave up on you

    Excellent. I fell in love with a man, I do not see him anymore, but I think of him all the time and care and for the first time in my life want to marry a man. This is quite unusual because I am almost 40 but never had a date yet, I would go out with this man.
