Bad security string, comment not posted

I think I’m not the only one with this problem

But it’s really irritating whenever it happens

Cause it will take another or more trials

Before I can comment on any article

That is why until now, I hate seeing this

Bad security string, comment not posted

It’s like a bully taunting me for my mistakes

You are so right! I get this so often, it’s just taken me ages to post a comment on socyberty… lovely poem though!

  • Sharazad on Apr 6, 2009

yeah- and then you get those stupid/little/slashes/beside every punctuation mark!
    /Hate that./

  • Evelyn Moore on Apr 6, 2009

Totally agree – with my eyesight it can take many goes. Why is it necessary if we have logged in to get onto Triond, why can that not be enough?

Maybe if the message was a little more understanding – I would not feel told off so often.

  • MMV Abad on Apr 6, 2009

Yeah! Me too. Time consuming. Nice post Dee :)

  • Elizabeth Abbott on Apr 6, 2009

    ME TOO TOO! Dang-diddily-dang!!!

  • Uma Shankari on Apr 6, 2009

The worst is sometimes I post comments and close the window without noticing the \’bad security string\’ message. Later I notice my comments have not appeared at all.

  • M J katz on Apr 6, 2009

I almost cringe whenever I hit the ‘post’ button because it seems that there’s only a 50/50 chance of actually having your message posted on the very first try…and this is on a GOOD day!

And have you noticed that frequently the code you are instructed to type in the box has “l” which can often be mistaken for “1″???

I agree with Evelyn Moore…our postings of our Triond credentials should be enough!! ^~^

You are so right. Pain in the Butt it is. They must be afraid we are going to program a bot to view our articles. Crazy! At least these are written in a row. I’ve seen them where they look thrown on a page.

This is when I say WHAT? I don’t have time for this nonsense! I have to feed the kids!!!!!!! Elizabeth Abbott is right there with me!!!!!

  • papaleng on Apr 6, 2009

At first I was annoyed but sooner I got used to it. I\’m having it the past few days..

  • Lady Sunshine on Apr 6, 2009

Lol! I feel your pain. Can be very irritating.

  • clay hurtubise on Apr 6, 2009

Never have had that problem, but I use Safari on my Mac… :)
    Thanks,
    Clay

  • seashell66 on Apr 6, 2009

    Yes, I agree.

  • Karen Gross on Apr 6, 2009

I too have mistaken the l for the number 1. What does it say about our society when cyber bullying means the computer is being rude to you?

  • Inna Tysoe on Apr 6, 2009

    LOL.

    Thanks for that :)

  • Melody Arcamo Lagrimas on Apr 6, 2009

  • Yovita Siswati on Apr 7, 2009

It iritates me too! Now, I also have difficulties posting comments using my Triond credentials in Bizcovering, Writinghood, and Notecook (sigh..)

  • Betty Carew on Apr 7, 2009

  • Tusaani on Apr 10, 2009

You are most def. not the only one with this problem!

Lol, it’s annoying and for some reason, whenever that happens for me, the comment gets messed up too. I hope I don’t get a bad security string this time!
