It seems I have been this way before…

Was I dreaming

Did I pass this way

Was I too busy to notice

How could I not see

Where was my mind

What was I thinking

I should have stopped

Should have paid more attention

There is no charge for such beauty

This priceless beauty is free

Yet, I drive by without a look

In too much of a hurry

Time is always rushing me

The clock is pushing me

Time will have to wait a minute

For I have been this way before

I will not pass this time

Time can wait

I am taking in all this beauty

Shirley, It’s a shame that we have so much beauty and are too hurried to see. Sometime it occurs to me that we wear blinders and only occasionally slip them off to see all the beauty available to us.

Wow. A long comment from Ruby. This piece rings true for so many. Everybody is in a hurry, too busy to notice the simple plesures around us. Nature is a gift we don’t appreciate. The pic is lovely.
