I wrote a pome on soul mates and it got me thinking.
Maybe I am one of the lucky ones, that has found her sole mate, it got me thinking, as I began to look at the soul mate principle in more detail.

What I found out was, that the description of a soul mate fit my partner to a tee. Some people may not believe in this phenomenon, but for me it was hard to ignore.

Greek mythology had a theory, a story to tell, that may have been the first concept of the soul mate principle. They thought originally humans were were combined of four arms and four legs, and a single head made of two faces but Zeus feared their power, and split them all in half condemning them to spending their lives for the other half to complete them. This myth makes scene with the soul mate principle for ever searching for the one as we may never find the one in one life time.
Soul mates can come in many forms from friends, children and a loved one, the one that I am interested in is the loved one, as I feel I have found my soul mate.
A soul mate is described as having a deep connection with one person with their mind body and soul, and is able to scene the other person like having two minds in one.
My own experience brought me to wanting to share this with you.
I meet my partner in the most unexpected way when I look back, I had just come out of a relationship that left me weary of men lets put it that way. Living on my own with two children was hard enough but pulling myself together took nearly twelve mouths. On one evening my eldest came running down the stairs shouting we got water coming from our bed room roof, I did not know what to do it was poring in! My children could not stay in their room, I had fears of the roof coming in. In a panic I rung my friend bearing in mind it was now eleven at night, but it was the week end I knew she would not mind under the circumstances. My friend had had a drink and was a little drunk, as I explained what was happening a strange voice came on the other end of the phone.
Who was this I thought to myself? After putting down the phone I felt funny that’s the only way I could describe it but I dismissed it and tried to sort out the children’s room. A knock on the door followed after that and my friends boyfriend was standing in my kitchen, I told him what was happening and looked behind him. My friends boy friend said this is Colin he had to drive me as I have had a drink he don’t drink only tea, with this we laugh we just stared at each other I could not say anything at this point don’t know why but he kept staring to. I had to find out all about him I must have drove my friend nuts for a while unknowing to me he was doing the same thing. After that night we could not keep apart for more than a day, we would ring each other and find our phones engaged as we were both ringing each other at same time, messaging was and still is fun because I would message him and before I sent the text he would send me a similar one back on the subject I was texting about. Colin would be thinking the same things as me we finish each others sentience all the time which can be annoying some times. We have no secrets because there’s no point we just know what’s going on in each others minds. We are now married and the bound is stronger than ever, even though we have a large age gap between us to us its no big deal at all some people frown upon us, but if this is enough evidence for me to make me believe in the soul mate principal. I may be just be a lucky one that I has found mine in my life time.
