My guitar and me.
I haven’t played my guitar,
It lies still in a corner,
Like a child angry with its mother.
I haven’t played my guitar,
Its strings call out to me,
But I say no,
I don’t feel like me.
I haven’t played my guitar,
There is too much pain,
In those days filled with rain.
I haven’t played my guitar,
It’s still too early I say,
Let the rains go away.
I haven’t played my guitar,
It weeps out to me,
Is the guitar weeping?
Or is it me?
I haven’t played my guitar,
For a long time you see,
Maybe the music has died in me.
