Creepy little poem. Think about the last line….

I hear them whisper in the night

And in my mind it drives me wild

I feel it really wind’ my clock

It makes the night feel far away

And when they come I’m not alone

The voices comfort and sooth my heart

I hate the dark, to be alone

Scares me so I feel for them

They’re all alone, nowhere to go

They wait for me like I wait for dawn

They lay with me and they tell me things

Things others try to keep inside

They tell me secrets others have

Who is or isn’t, on my side

The voices they would never lie

They’re real I know, they tell me so

They tell me to do things once in awhile

I do them all, it feels good inside

A quick release, and the pain subsides

A title wave, which recedes

The voices, I know they’re real

How else do you explain the ‘who am I’?
