Adult!

But
I
do
not
go
out!

To
socialize,

for
it
scares
me
too
much!

You see,
I
am
emotionally
scared!

I
fear,
the
World
outside!

So
I
hide
away
from
it!

I
admit
it
to
you,
now!

And
I
am
just
brave
enough,
to
say
it!

I
have
to
go
to
work!
To
keep
our
Home!
To
feed
and
cloth
our
Family!
But
that
is
it!

Because
of
the
trauma,
of my
Childhood!
The
bruises and
pain,
and
Mum
and
Dad
at
War!

That as a growing
up
Child,
I
was
forced
to
watch,
and
I
had
to
endure!

Now

just as then,
I
hide away,
from a World,
that
was
so
very
cruel,
to
me!

So , as a Child
I
hid!
Now

so it is,
as an Adult,
I
hide away,
just the same!

For
the
memories
and
the
pain
never
do
die!

They
do
not
even,
fade
away!
