I have no money to live on

And I don’t have a beau

And my whole family is dead

I don’t even have a job

The way I live is bad

The other day I went to the animal shelter to get a puppy

A lonely thing like me needs a sweet companion

To hold and cuddle and love

At the shelter they told me that they were out of puppies

And I went home crying

I just got a call from a friend of mine

He had a job offer for me

I took the job as a Security Guard

And now I have money coming in

I found a beau who shares the same interests as me

And I got good money coming in

And now I have a baby puppy

I feel as good as it gets………………………..song is fading
