I do believe for you

This time of year is cold

So I went and found this beautiful red rose

Especially for you to hold

I have placed it here upon your grave

To keep you feeling warm

The beauty that comes from it

Will survive the greatest storm

I placed  it to say I love you

And how much I miss you so

I placed it here to show you

 The memory of you grows

I would place a million more

Just to see your face

As when I lost you my closest friend

I lost something that couldn’t be replaced

So I am thinking of you darling

As this christmas comes around

I realise I ‘ll see you again some day

As I lay my rose upon the ground
