Solitude, nature and me. (penned in 1985)

http://www.247sailing.net/?p=59

Walking, I saw something.
I looked at the sea,
I looked up the sky.
I saw colored shells,
I saw some birds.

Walking, I learned something.
Birds are free.
Seas are calm.
Trees are tall.
Flowers are beautiful.

Walking, I acquired something;
I feel I’m free.
I know I’m lucky.
I know I’m happy.
I know I’m me.

In my solitude, I saw
I learned,
I acquired something worthy.

And I found out,
I love me.

A wonderful discovery in your solitude. If you don’t love you, why would anyone else?
