This is a poem that I wrote for my husband, when he was away for a little over a year. I wrote this for him to insure him I would wait.
I love you so very much
I love the specialway you touch
I love you in such special ways
Yesterday, tommorow, today and always
I prayed and asked to God above
He sent me you to have and love
When you hold me so tenderly
I am able to feel, able to see
That you love me as I do you
Together, our love will see us through
We’ve been through a lot and held on tight
Together, we’ve turned the wrongs to rights
And now everyone can plainly see
That you and I were meant to be
I will love you forever and always
