Well, this is a poem of mine that I’ve made quite a long while ago. Yes, I was quite heart broken, but no, I’m not Emo, Lol. Seriously. Honestly, if I could remember right, this took me about 6-8 hours of pure thinking and "emotional-feelings-disassemble" to think about. So just sit back, relax, read slowly, and please–try not to cry…

(I’ve had a few friends who read this and did.)

Love, a rare, delicate object,
anyone and everyone, love can affect,
sometimes sought private, and sometimes not,
it’s only when it strikes, more roses are bought.

It could all start in the beginning, meeting someone new,
making friends and relationships; to name just a few.
Who knows, maybe you would start loving someone unexpected,
making love soar high, up and erected.

Jealousy can play a part of love, trust me, it does,
it could lead to problems and arguments, it’s all a big fuss.
While she could feel happy being hugged and caressed,
the other one could feel lonely, being sad and depressed.

But there could be someone else, already loving you and dressed,
falling for you heavily, thinking your blessed.
Falling for them yourself, “Yes,” you might say,
“I just hope that jealousy would go away.”

After the first date, you might realize this was better than before,
as time passed, it was hugs and kisses galore.
Both of your eyes gleamed happiness, both of your eyes gleamed bliss,
it seemed to be all fun-and-games, until your lips first kiss.

You soon find out, your darling had butterflies,
they tried to keep calm, tries over tries.
You then realize, you were getting nervous too,
Trying to move nervousness away, all you said was, “Shoo!”.

Jealousy seemed to come back, unfortunately,
the one from before came back, rather helplessly.
“Why won’t you get over me?” you thought as she seemed to gamble your love like greed,
“No, I really can’t…” an answer seemed to whisper back; it was a plead.

And so you trudged on, going through the day’s hardships,
bearing everyday’s greeting and goodbye, a kiss on the lips.
Then one day came, gosh, there was so much drama,
it seemed that your heart, fell into a trauma.

Your love had broken up, she said she still liked you,
you didn’t understand, you couldn’t face the fact it was true.
In the end, your heart healed a bit, yet still on a crutch,
all you could say was, “I love you, so much.”.

Thanks for reading my poem.
Sincerely, Joe.
