The first stop on the Fool’s Journey.
Fresh on his journey, the fool encounters a man surrounded by the tools of his knowledge,
staffs, goblets, swords, coins, called by different names by different people,
On the table in front of him.
Behind this knowledgeable man, workers labor,
their muscles straining to create the an awesome stone structure
Designed by this man.
When the fool approaches, the man looks up, his eyes full of wisdom
and the desire to use what he knows in practical ways throughout the wider world,
Coupled with the confidence to know he will succeed.
The Fool quickly sets off.
As wise as this Magician is, it’s too boring to stay with him for long.
There’s too much to left to see.
