I wrote this about my Grandma, but I am sure there are a lot who miss someone this year. I am sorry for your loss.

I miss you at Christmas
Just like most of the year
When families gather
With love and good cheer

The weather is nice
And the tree is a glow
People are smiling
Wherever I go

Most carry tradition
But like me.. some carry a tear
Because of one special person

That died through the year

I miss you at Christmas
And seeing your face
Hearing your voice
And experiencing your grace

I miss you at Christmas
And how much it has changed
When someone is gone
How is family arranged?

It’s hard to find blessings
And the spirit of hope
Because every day but Christmas
I only cope

I miss you at Christmas
I wish you were here
I still have the love
But you have the good cheer

Very nice. I still miss my folks most at Christmas time, even though they passed decades ago.
