This poem wasn’t fully writtin by me. It was writtin by me and my little cousin for her mum. My little cousin lost her mum to cancer when she was only 7years old. She is 12years old now. She told me a few things she enjoyed about her mum and I helped her put those feelings into words. Please feel free to leave comments.

I loved your warm comforting snuggles
I loved it when we lay on the couch and watched movies
I loved the smell of your sweet perfume
I loved it when you made my coco pops and toast just before bedtime
I loved bath time when you made all those bubbles
I loved all the splashing and the toys
I loved to hear the sound of your laugh
And I loved to see your face when you smiled
I love you mum…
I miss the warmth and comfort of  your snuggles
I miss the times when we lay on the couch and watched movies
I miss the smell the smell of your sweet perfume
I miss the way you made my coco pops and toast just before bedtime
I miss the bath time with all the bubbles
I miss all the splashing and the toys
I miss the sound of you laugh
And I miss the look on your face when you smile
I miss you mum…

Beautiful, Darlene, and obviously heartfelt. I love emotive poetry. I read several of your posts and you have talent. Well done. Hope you find time to look at, and hopefully post comments on some of my stuff? That would be great Thanks!
