Poetry about a battlefield, being heavily outnumbered and facing certain death!

The trumpets have blown
The stage is set
Destiny is in the Motion
Death whispers its commotion

I Must Ride Now…

Long rows of archers
Long rows of enemy
Long rows of fear
The Fate of my nation hangs

I Must Ride Now

Our numbers are few
Though we are brave
Yet defeat looks inevitable
But there is an oath that i knew

I shout the war cry
strengthens the brave soldiers
Ah, Brave souls at my command
March proudly to their death

With them,
   I Must Ride Now
