Committed, romantic, determined and perhaps a bit lovesick… willing to let someone go, but not willing to give up.
I promise never to give up…
…so if you quit,
Then I will forever be a sail without a boat.
You are my ship and I am your mast and sails.
We sail the sea of life where the breath of God takes us.
Let us look for a safe harbour to rest in for a while –
Or it is your choice to leave –
And I shall be a mast on a coral atoll,
Like a flag with your name on it fluttering purposelessly.
But, I promise never to give up.
