I hope she never questions,
Why I made him leave.
She is my whole world,
I just couldn’t make him see.
He wasn’t ready to grow up,
I couldn’t wait forever.
He wants to go and party,
I want her life to be better.
I had exhausted all my options,
I had tried to talk it out.
You can’t force someone to realize,
What it should all be about.
I have an idea in my head,
Of how her life should be.
I refuse to settle again,
For her or for me.
I will give up everything,
To give her the life she deserves.
