I thought I got over not seeing you,
then I realised that’s not true.
You’re still there in my head,
I remember all the things you said.
You said we’d be friends forever,
and that we’d always stick together.
I miss the old us when it was just you and me,
I wish that you could just see.
I’d do anything to get those days back,
When you and me would just yak and yak.
Those times where we could talk all day,
and still have so much to say.
I know we can’t get those days back now,
But I know we will catch up one day some how.
Maybe things will go back to the way they used to be,
I don’t know we will just have to wait and see.
