This is a poem I wrote last October of 2006.

I, The River

by: tycheabad

I keep on searching for a path onward

And I find some trees to be on guard

I have offered my life and it’s too hard

I have been through journeys and now I’m tired

Now I say that oftentimes I cry

I beg for mercy but you just say “bye”

I have come from the mountains and I sigh

I am the river, the river is I

I am strong but I bleed

I am useful, true indeed!

All your help I badly need

People, you must save the mountain ahead

Now all I cry for – is HELP!
