Life is a puzzle…with quite a few pieces missing.

I think…
I think I’d like to write something.
But the page stares back
As blank as blank can be.
Only trivial words come to me.

I think…
I think I’d like to say something
Something profound
From which empathy will about
But the page is silent
As silent as can be.

It’s like sitting
In the eye of a hurricane.
Out there,
The world is spinning,
Spinning round.
When the maelstrom
Pulls me again into the dance
Will it peirce me
Like a lance
Or gently set me down.

I think…
I think I’d like
To be at peace.
I think I’d like
To offer the same
To everyone and each.

But if such were in my power,
Would it even last an hour?
Would even be a good idea?
I’m not sure I know.

So I guess I’ll just
Take it all quiet and slow
I’ll take some time
To think.

Take your time. You think, therefore you are.

Daisy, thats nice. I sat down a few days ago with paper and pen to write whatever came to mind and I did write one word after the other for 30 minutes. I thought I might come up with something profound, but no such luck.

I think I enjoy reading your work. But I do know how you feel. My last one before bed. Read more tomorrow, I hope. I have a busy day.

    Good night, Daisy, Pam

Very enjoyable. Your poetry has a simple honesty about it.
