Everything seems so simple
when it rains here
Don’t have to think much
Or ask too many questions.
Life must be sweet for a water drop
Plunging eighteen thousand feet
to a quick death.
Sometimes, you gotta ask yourselves these questions
like ‘what am I doing here’
Why
Sometimes, I just don’t wanna be human anymore
I think it’s that simple
I wanna be spontaneous and beautiful
like a flash of lightening
my voice booming over mountain valleys and frightened children
Or I wanna be carefree, like a fruit gnat
Twenty four hours of flying
and a short and instant death.
I guess I’m always living in the flash
I’m still waiting for the time when I can
close my eyes and get a
good nights rest.
Maybe I just need a vacation.
