A Poem By Lawrence Miller.
I thought I saw a rainbow
I thought I saw a rainbow
But there was no rain
Could it be a rainless rainbow
Or is it just the suns reflection
From a clear and cloudless day
There’s snow on the trees branches
Less the farther south I go
The roads are right for driving
But the traffic seems so slow
Midday is upon me
My destinations six pm
My wheels have been turning
For two hours now
I left the wind and cold behind me
No more frost on my eyebrow
I thought I saw a rainbow
But there was no rain
Could it be a rainless rainbow
Or is it just the suns reflection
From a clear and cloudless day
